About Accurate
Accurate — live Irish public transport. Last updated 11 August 2026.
Accurate shows Ireland's buses, Luas trams and DART trains where they are right now, and counts down the next departures at the stops you use. It is free, needs no account, and shows no ads.
What it does
The live map draws every vehicle currently reporting a position, with its route, direction and delay. Departure boards count down the next departures for the routes and stops you pick, using live data where the operator publishes it and the timetable where it does not. It also does stop timetables, nearby stops, walking times and service alerts. It runs in a browser on phone and desktop, and installs as an app.
The data
Live positions, timetables, routes and stops come from the National Transport Authority's open feeds, DART positions from Iarnród Éireann, service alerts from Transport for Ireland, and map data from OpenStreetMap. Sources and licences are on the legal page. Accurate reports what those feeds say — when they are wrong or stale, it will be too.
Who runs it
Accurate is an independent app, built and run by one developer in Dublin. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the National Transport Authority, Iarnród Éireann, Dublin Bus, Bus Éireann, Go-Ahead Ireland, Luas, or any transport operator or public body in Ireland.
Privacy
No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. Settings stay on your device, and location is used only while the app is open. Details on the privacy page.
